What Can I Expect After Facial Trauma Treatment?
Our caring team proudly provides numerous emergency services and acute care, facial reconstruction, and care that focuses on overall rehabilitation and restoration. We treat teeth that have been knocked out or damaged, fractured jaws, cheekbones, orbital bones, forehead injuries, and facial or oral lacerations. When you enter our facility with a facial injury, we will conduct a thorough examination to determine the best course of treatment for your situation. The type of approach we use in repairing your jaw, face, or mouth will be dependent on the extent of your injury and where it is located. We will also take into account your age, condition, and any other medical conditions or health concerns that you may have.
We will discuss your options for treatment along with sedation and anesthesia services upon your arrival at our office. Since our goal is to provide comfortable, safe, and effective care, our team will monitor you throughout your procedure, making sure your treatment is as comfortable as possible. For more extensive surgeries, general anesthesia, IV sedation, and/or local anesthesia may be used for your treatment.
Your recovery process will vary, depending on your injury and the type of procedure that was necessary. After your procedure, a member of our team will provide follow-up instructions. Before you leave our office, we will let you know if any additional treatments will be needed and when to visit our surgical center for a follow-up evaluation to remove any necessary wires, sutures, or other devices. The amount of healing time will vary, but our team will be able to let you know what you can expect during your recovery. Some patients may also need to seek treatment from their restorative dentist or another type of specialist for a full repair if an injury to the teeth occurred. Our team will be here to guide you and answer any questions you may have as you recover.
Southern California Center for Surgical Arts Reviews
My experience with this office was absolutely stellar. Firstly, the staff welcomes you warmly when you arrive. Diana (doctor’s assistant) met me in the exam room. Diana has a way of instantly making you feel comfortable and any nervousness you may be feeling is dissipated.... Because you can’t stop laughing. Then enters Dr. Elias.... He is extremely approachable, honest, and knowledgeable. It doesn’t hurt that he has multiple degrees. I am ecstatic that I found this business:
Dr. Elias pulled my wisdom teeth out like they called his mamma fat or something! Surgery was quick and basically painless. Didn’t need any of the pain meds and was back at work two days later looking like a snack. Diane was the nurse that took care of me for most of the process and she was so wonderful, kind, funny and sweet. If my wisdom teeth every grow back, I will definitely be coming back to Dr. Elias immediately. Thank you!
He did Facetite on me on a Friday and I was back to work on Monday - Dr. Elias is wonderful! He did Facetite on me on a Friday and I was back to work on Monday. He's a true artist & perfectionist! He's really good at injectables as well. I get Botox & fillers all the time with him. The staff is very friendly!
Excellent, clear communication, professional. Great staff with a fun vibe. Clean office. Lots of follow ups and no issues with my dental implant! Everyone was A+.
