What Are The Benefits Of Rhinoplasty?
A nose that is out of proportion or not in balance with other facial features can significantly impact a person's self-esteem. While the shape of your nose is usually the result of genetics, the appearance may also have been altered due to an injury.
Nose surgery is performed with the patient under IV sedation or general anesthesia and is considered an outpatient surgical procedure. Dr. Elias performs rhinoplasty using either an open or closed (endonasal) approach. The goal during treatment is to reduce excess cartilage, tissue, and bone, or to improve and add cartilage if needed for reshaping. The nasal features are repositioned, and the skin is draped over the newly structured framework. Sutures are implemented either inside the nose or along the natural external fold.
Following your cosmetic nose surgery, you will be monitored closely and then released to recover at home. You will experience swelling and bruising for the first few days after your procedure. In most cases, there is bruising and discoloration beneath the eyes in addition to the nose. Cold compresses and pain medication can help relieve these symptoms. Your post-operative appointment with Dr. Elias will occur within a couple of days following surgery to check your healing process. It generally takes about 2 – 4 weeks to recover from nose surgery. Within this timeframe, strenuous exertion should be avoided.
Southern California Center for Surgical Arts Reviews
My experience with this office was absolutely stellar. Firstly, the staff welcomes you warmly when you arrive. Diana (doctor’s assistant) met me in the exam room. Diana has a way of instantly making you feel comfortable and any nervousness you may be feeling is dissipated.... Because you can’t stop laughing. Then enters Dr. Elias.... He is extremely approachable, honest, and knowledgeable. It doesn’t hurt that he has multiple degrees. I am ecstatic that I found this business:
Dr. Elias pulled my wisdom teeth out like they called his mamma fat or something! Surgery was quick and basically painless. Didn’t need any of the pain meds and was back at work two days later looking like a snack. Diane was the nurse that took care of me for most of the process and she was so wonderful, kind, funny and sweet. If my wisdom teeth every grow back, I will definitely be coming back to Dr. Elias immediately. Thank you!
He did Facetite on me on a Friday and I was back to work on Monday - Dr. Elias is wonderful! He did Facetite on me on a Friday and I was back to work on Monday. He's a true artist & perfectionist! He's really good at injectables as well. I get Botox & fillers all the time with him. The staff is very friendly!
